Anna Kendrick: Twilight Co-Stars Are ‘Too Perfect Looking’

Anna Kendrick (Getty Images)She may work side by side with two of the hottest heartthrobs going right now, but Anna Kendrick doesn't seem interested in either Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner. The actress in the new movie The Twilight Saga: Eclipse says that while they are two of the world’s most sought-after hunks, neither one is for her.
She said: “I mean, they’re like siblings to me now, and if I had to choose between them, it would feel really creepy. I don’t think either of them is my type. I’d like a guy who looks a little more goofy and who is less intimidating -- they’re both lovely, but almost too perfect-looking.”
Although Anna -- who starred in Up in the Air with George Clooney -- can see the attraction in both men, she says she finds it a bit “strange” at how much attention they get from girls, especially Robert.
She told website MailOnline: “They’re a big thing now. It seems like a harmless hobby, although it is a little strange. Maybe the moms are finding a way to connect with their daughters, which would be sweet. But all it takes is one crazy mom to infiltrate that sweet circle of women and you never know what they might do!
“I think Rob is just as shy and freaked out by the attention as he seems to be -- it’s not an act. He’s definitely not hard on the eyes, and I get why girls go crazy for him, but it makes me feel like saying, ‘Guys, really, he’s just a dude!’"

Cameron Diaz Is Always True to Herself

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz promote their new film "Knight & Day" on "Good Morning America" in New York. Tom and Cameron have spent the last few weeks busily promoting this film all over Europe. (Pacific Coast News)more pics »Cameron Diaz has been in the biz since her breakthrough role in The Mask alongside Jim Carrey in 1994, and since then she says she's always done what she wants to do, when she wants to do it. She's always been true to herself, and is keeping it that way.

She said: "I don't feel like I need to prove anything to anybody. When you start out and people identify with you they want to keep you how they remembered you the first time they fell in love with you. It's like a relationship. But that doesn't concern me as I've always tried to be true to myself and move at a pace that was right for me."
Since her breakthrough role, Cameron has starred in a wide variety of films, including The Holiday, Shrek and My Sister's Keeper, in which the actress played a mother who had to watch her daughter battle cancer.
The 37-year-old blonde admits her role in My Sister's Keeper was one of her most challenging, but the director Nick Cassavetes was a great help on set. She added to Sky Magazine:
Nick was such a great support. He really helped to guide me towards what was happening because he's been through that experience himself, with his daughter having a congenital heart disease for the last 20 years. This material touched me, absolutely. But my character, Sara didn't have the luxury to feel those feelings. She had to keep fighting.

Brandy Wants to Be Her Daughter’s Friend
(Getty Images)
Brandy (Photo Agency)You've got a friend in me, says Brandy. The singer says she wants to be her daughter’s friend.
The singer-and-actress wants a close relationship with eight-year-old Sy’rai so doesn’t want to have too much authority over her as she believes it will make Sy’rai more honest with her as she grows up.
Brandy – who is separated from Sy’rai’s father Robert Smith -- said: “I’m raising in a different way than how I was raised. A lot of mothers feel like they’re the mom first, with that authority. But for me, I’m a friend first. I believe that just being there for my daughter as a friend more than ‘I’m in charge…’ causes her to be more open with me as a person.”
Although Brandy admits she does have to discipline Sy’rai occasionally, she thinks being a bit more lenient with her is already playing dividends.
She told Parade.com: “I know I’ll probably get flack for being a friend first, but it really works. Sy'rai’s really honest with me. I’m just teaching her how to trust herself. I tell her all the time that my life is not your life -- you have your own life. At the end of the day we’re going to be friends. When she grows up, it’ll be about that friendship that we’ll have. She’ll come to me for any problems that she has.”

Helen Mirren: I’ll Take Truthfulness and Loyalty over Romance Any Day

Helen Mirren (Getty Images)Romance, schmomance, says Dame Helen Mirren. The actress said in a recent interview that she doesn't care about mushy stuff, as long as her partner is truthful and loyal. The 64-year-old actress -- who married director Taylor Hackford in 1997 after 15 years of dating -- insists loyalty and understanding are the key factors in making their relationship successful.
She said: "Taylor isn't romantic, but what I get on the other side is so much better. Loyalty and truthfulness - I'd take those qualities over romantic evenings any time. I have the incredible advantage of having a husband who is both loyal and understanding.
"In return, I give him back loyalty and understanding, too. We couldn't be married without that. I admire my husband and I think that's essential. I don't think you can fall in love with someone just because you admire them. But I don't think, either, you can fall in love with someone unless you admire them in the first place. And I admire Taylor considerably."
The Love Ranch actress believes meeting Taylor later in life has also made their relationship stronger because they are mature enough to support the demands of one another's careers.
She added in an interview with Yours magazine: "He is tremendously supportive of me and my career, too. He gives me strength and I do the same for him.
"We came together as grown-ups, professionally formed. I was in my late 30s and so aligned to him. We were generous to each other and loyal in terms of each other's work.
"He's proud of my successes and he's sympathetic when things aren't successful. If they aren't, he'll say 'You were great, darling' and I do likewise."

Hot or Not: Jennifer Lopez’s Two-Tone Hair
(Getty)
Jennfer Lopez (Getty)
Jennifer Lopez deserves more than a little credit for her willingness to commit completely to a look. Lesser divas might balk at the idea of event-specific dye jobs (or weave jobs, more likely), but not Ms. Lopez.
The actress-turned-singer was at her bronzed best at Monday evening's 2010 Apollo Theater Spring Benefit Concert in a fitted sequin dress by Gianfranco Ferré, matching the look with some amped-up loose waves in two different hues. Up top, Jennifer's working her signature honey shade, but just beneath, she's experimenting with a slightly darker color.
What do you think of Jennifer's two-tone 'do?

Lindsay Lohan Is Sick of LA
Getty ImagesLindsay Lohan doesn't want to be a California girl anymore. The troubled actress apparently is sick of Los Angeles and sources say she's been telling her pals she wants to hightail it to New York or London in the near future. Hm. Will her alcohol monitoring bracelet work there?
Lindsay's so over Cali. (Bauer Griffin) A source at the MuscleMilk Light fitness retreat in Beverly Hills, which the actress attended with her 16-year-old sister Ali, told E! Online: "She was going on about how she hates it here and how disgusting the people are. She said she likes NY and London and wants out of this city."
Meanwhile, friends of Lindsay are growing worried that she will struggle to stay on top of her schedule as she is struggling to find a new assistant, following the departure of her old employee recently.
The star is currently legally unable to drive, meaning she needs someone to take her to her appointments, including court-ordered alcohol education classes. Friends say she is also incredibly disorganized and can’t function without someone on hand to schedule her meetings, doctor’s appointments or work projects.
Lindsay’s previous assistant Elinore left the position, which she held for just a few months, after deciding she couldn't cope any longer with her employer’s "24/7 demands" and erratic behavior.
A source said recently: "Lindsay met Elinore through a mutual friend and she began spending more and more time at Lindsay's apartment. She was still paying rent on her own place but essentially was living at Lindsay's.
"After a few months, Lindsay's up and down moods and her 24/7 demands just got to be too much. Lindsay can be really bossy and mean when she doesn't get her own way and Elinore wasn't even getting paid some of the time."

Extra recently had an exclusive chat with Jennifer Lopez, and she talked about her MTV Movie Awards experience, dancing with Tom Cruise, for the first time.
Also on Zimbio:
"Working with Tom was amazing!" Lopez gushed to Extra, while attending the Boys and Girls Clubs of America event in New York on Thursday. "I'm such a hard worker, and I'm kind of intense about my job. It's great to work with someone who is just as intense and passionate and crazy about getting everything right."
The two started rehearsing for the musical number a month in advance. "[Tom] called me a month before and said, 'I have this idea. I'm doing this thing for the MTV Movie Awards, and I want it to be a surprise.'" She continued, "I said OK, we'd do a little mash-up of [Ludacris' 'Get Back' and a Lopez's song 'Get Right']. I come out and sing a little and then we dance together. But [I told him] you have to learn this cane dance that I do in the video."

See other great moments from the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. Lopez was thoroughly impressed with Cruise's moves. "The thing with that routine is that it is one of the hardest routines. But he did it. He really, really did it. And he did a great job. I was really proud of him." The actress/singer also wants to clear the air about the recent rumor that she and her husband, Marc Anthony, renewed their wedding vows. "We didn't. This is an absolute lie," Lopez said. "We just had our anniversary and had some people over to the house." She did add, "Maybe we will one day..."
